I received a letter from my Specialist and it mentions on x ray (a word) chondrocalcinosis
ERS 16 and CRP 12. Active synovitis with positive MTP and MCP sqeeze tests, wrists tender on
palpation,

I am sero RA so I thought that my bloods showed 'normal' whatever normal is. ?

If able to help the translation of this I would be grateful. x

I take it you've googled " Chondrocalcinosis "? It shows it as an inherited metabolic disorder where certain chemicals are deposited in one or more joints. The ESR and CRP just give a guide to the inflammation in your body. My little booklet shows normal ESR should be under 20 and normal CRP should be under 10, but as I say, they are only guides! Smile
